About The Program

Our Galactic Futures workshop will see students stepping into the future as they work to design innovation solutions for humanity's next great adventure: thriving in space. Using design thinking and STEM principles, students will become pioneers of innovation, tasked with solving real-world challenges of interplanetary exploration. From designing a spacecraft capable of carrying humans on month and year long journeys to foreign planets, to creating sustainable habitats and farms that can grow food in extraterrestrial environments, this workshop combines creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork to tackle the future of space travel.

Guided by experienced facilitators, students will dive into hands-on activities that spark imagination and innovation. They’ll brainstorm solutions, prototype ideas, and present their designs to peers, fostering collaboration and communication skills. The program emphasises cutting-edge technologies and concepts in space science, empowering students to see themselves as architects of humanity's future beyond Earth.

Ideal for upper primary and high school students, Galactic Innovators is a great program to get students thinking big about the future of space exploration, and all the exciting opportunities available in the space industry. Whether you’re looking to inspire the next generation of space explorers or teach practical problem-solving in an engaging context, this workshop will leave a lasting impression on students and educators alike.
