With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

About The Program
Growing up in a world surrounded by touchscreen devices, social media and wifi connectivity, young people today think very differently from other generations that have come before. Our Youth Advisory program offers a fantastic opportunity for students to lead the way in creating innovative solutions to address specific challenges or problems.
The program kicks off with students reflecting on their current knowledge and experiences related to the topic. Our team guides them through surveys, small group discussions, and reflections before delving into the solution design phase. Students then engage in various design-thinking activities, including researching global initiatives, creating user personas, and participating in a rapid ideation design sprint. If time allows, students can further develop one of their solutions through a pitch presentation.
Upon request, our team can compile a report featuring key insights derived from both quantitative and qualitative data, showcasing students' ideas, perspectives, and opinions. These reports serve as valuable tools for teams seeking to implement new initiatives or drive change within their community.

Case Studies
Our Youth Advisory program is an incredibly popular program with schools using it as a way to develop impactful solutions to challenges in their school community, reimagine curriculum, and rethink how they do things.
Examples of how schools have utilised this program in the past include:
Kenmore State High School | Ken-X Redesign: Engaging 25 students in a 6-month program to brainstorm and propose solutions for enhancing a specialist extension program.
Beenleigh State High School | Career Education: A 3-hour Youth Advisory session with 20 students from Years 10-12 to brainstorm and devise strategies for enhancing the delivery of career education at Beenleigh SHS, aiming to provide better support for students.
Omni Academies | Building A School of the Future: A 4-hour Youth Advisory session involving 15 students from various locations in SEQ. We explored the essential elements that characterise an exceptional school and generated new ideas on subjects, culture, and opportunities to ideate a school of the future.
