With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

Our Story
A Group Of 14 Year Olds, $100 Investment And A School Business Project
Hash-Tag Keyrings
BOP looked very different in 2014 compared to how it does today. With a simple blue logo, a two page business plan and plenty of ambition, we hit the local markets with our laser cut "Hash-Tag" keyrings as part of a Year 9 business project. That was how BOP, originally standing for Buy Our Product, first came to life and how we began the journey of growing the company from a school project into the education organisation it is today.
After making $400 profit within a term of selling keyrings at local markets, we were pretty excited by what was possible and decided to keep going. Over the summer holidays after finishing Year 9, our founder Scott and a small group of friends spent weekends at local markets selling keyrings, speaking with customers and learning firsthand how small businesses grow.
After a few months of trading at markets and learning more about sales, customer behaviour and product presentation, we launched an online store and began selling through eBay, Etsy, and our own website. Before too long, we found ourselves selling thousands of keyrings each month as Year 10 students and shipping products to customers around the world.

Holograms By BOP
From there we found ourselves stepping into the events and marketing space with our next venture, Holograms By BOP. Initially launched after learning how to create simple holographic displays through online tutorials and experimentation, what began as a curiosity project quickly evolved into one of Australia’s leading holographic entertainment businesses as we moved through high school.
Throughout Years 11 and 12, Scott and the team were designing holograms that ranged from phone and tablet sized displays through to life sized units standing more than two metres tall. As demand grew, so did the scale of the projects, with holograms appearing at product launches, conferences, awards nights, and major events across Australia and internationally.
As high school students, we found ourselves balancing final exams with black tie events, national conferences, and client projects for leading brands and organisations. It was a season that taught us a great deal about creativity, professionalism, logistics, and what it meant to deliver for clients at a high standard while still learning ourselves.
This period became a defining chapter in BOP’s journey, showing us how quickly ideas could grow when paired with curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to say yes to opportunities.
BOP Education
After graduating high school at 17, our founder Scott began receiving calls from teachers asking a simple question: could we teach students how to do what we had done?
At the time, schools were increasingly exploring how to equip young people with the skills needed for a changing world, with growing conversations around entrepreneurship, innovation, and STEM. What started as a handful of workshops in regional Queensland quickly grew into something much bigger as schools began inviting us into classrooms to share practical lessons in creativity, leadership and employability skills.
In those early years, our programs took us from small regional communities to major cities across Australia, before expanding internationally into Malaysia, Singapore, and China. Each workshop gave us the opportunity to work directly with young people, helping them explore big ideas, develop confidence and better understand the opportunities emerging around them. From entrepreneurship and design thinking to future technologies and STEM, our classroom experiences were built to make learning feel real, relevant and relatable.
As word spread, BOP evolved from a workshop provider into a trusted education partner, collaborating with schools to design learning experiences that could be adapted for different age groups, subjects, and community contexts.

What We're Building Today
Today, BOP Industries works with schools, governments and some of the world’s leading brands to design future focused learning experiences that reach tens of thousands of young people each year.
Alongside our school workshops, we now collaborate with organisations including IBM, Qantas and the Olympic and Paralympic Games to help young people explore emerging industries, understand future career pathways and develop the capabilities needed for the world ahead. These partnerships allow us to connect classrooms with real world challenges, helping students see how the skills they are building today apply far beyond school.
Our work has also expanded into large scale education initiatives, including leading national conferences such as the Future of Education Summit and regional events like EduFest WA, where educators, industry innovators and government leaders come together to explore what learning needs to look like next.
Beyond events and workshops, our team now designs teaching resources, challenge packs, units of work and classroom materials used by educators and students across Australia and internationally. These resources support tens of thousands of young people to engage with entrepreneurship, innovation, STEM and future focused learning in practical and meaningful ways.
While the work looks very different to those first market stalls in 2014, the purpose remains the same. We are passionate about creating opportunities that help young people see what is possible and build the confidence to shape what comes next
