With curriculum time getting busier and busier, a great way to inspire and empower students is before and after school with extracurricular programs for students. Our after school programs are fantastic at doing this and allow us to get students thinking big and focussing on cross-curricular, project-based learning as they tackle challenges, build skills and work on projects that get them thinking about the world around them and the exciting opportunities open to their generation.
With everything from designing future cities to launching influencer brands, building businesses, working with technology and more, we have a range of standard programs to choose from, or we're able to customise a program to your school community. Our after school programs typically run for 6-8 weeks and cost $30 per student per week.

Workshop Facilitator
At BOP Industries, we aim to provide educational experiences that inspire, empower and engage students. To help deliver on that aim, we’re on the hunt for passionate, engaging, and energetic people to join our team as Workshop Facilitators.
As a Workshop Facilitator, you will deliver a range of workshops to primary and secondary school students. BOP collaborates and consults with a diverse range of clients, from schools to corporate partners facilitating workshops related to entrepreneurship, STEM, industry innovations, as well as various other topics.
This is a casual role, but with an ever-growing team there are always opportunities for further employment in the future.
About The Role
As a Workshop Facilitator, you’ll need to be a confident communicator and adaptable in delivering content on a range of topics, to a variety of different audiences. We do not expect our facilitators to be experts in every field, but it is important to be versatile and open to learning new content regularly.

Delivering workshops to students all over Australia and ensuring they are having an enjoyable learning experience;

Validating that all materials are prepared and organised for workshops. This includes set-up & pack-down of any workshops materials (both physical and digital).

Communicating clearly and regularly with the BOP Operations Manager and extended BOP Industries Team.

Attending meetings and training at BOP Industries Head Office for continued workshop development.

Other tasks and responsibilities may become available within the business (including program building, marketing assistance, etc.), but any additional expectations of the role will be discussed prior to any tasks are assigned.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualities and skills:

Previous experience in presenting, teaching, facilitating or performing

Ability to educate, engage, and motivate school-aged audiences in person and online

Proficiency in technology and computer systems, or a willingness to learn (Such as; Google Suite, Notion, Slack)

Flexibility to operate both in a team and independently when necessary

Passionate about inspiring the next generation of young professionals

The Details
Hours of Work: The hours of work vary depending on upcoming projects, however, it will mostly involve full day work throughout the whole year
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Location: Our head office is in WeWork, Brisbane CBD (with free barista-made coffee available to all team members!). This role will also require working in a variety of schools and other locations across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and inter-state.
Salary: Workshop Facilitators will be paid at a casual rate in accordance with the Miscellaneous Award 2020. Starting at Level 1, Program Facilitators will transition to Level 2 after a training period has been completed.
